In 2019, the Division of Quality Assurance, Bureau of Assisted Living has developed a new way to interact with Wisconsin citizens who are interested in assisted living facilities.
Who should attend consumer town halls?
- Starting to think about assisted living?
- Already a current assisted living resident?
- A family member or legal representative of a resident?
- Looking to gain a better understanding of assisted living?
No matter where you are on your life journey, assisted living consumer town halls will answer your questions and help you in making informed decisions.
What can you expect from attending a consumer town hall?
You will have the chance to interact directly with regulators, managed care organizations, adult protective agencies, advocates, and other assisted living partners.
It will give you a better understanding of assisted living facilities, the types of services provided, how assisted living facilities are regulated, the difference between assisted living facilities and nursing homes, available funding sources, and how to access online regulatory and advocacy resources.
You won’t want to miss this exciting opportunity to learn more about assisted living facilities and the great services that are available if or when you need them.
